I am 61 years of age as of this edit (07/31/2023). I have worked in the sign industry since around… 1983ish? Let’s just say for many, many years. However, there are many skills needed to be a good sign guy. I have worked in other trades and jobs. ie.. Bus boy, shelf stocker, furniture mover, union laborer (demolition), trade show setup, gas pump attendant, sign painting instructor (pinch me), 3 different sign shops and… my own sign shop!!!
So please join in and share your experiences, your knowledge, your skills.
Ask questions. I will attempt to answer with as much honesty, experience, and skill that I have.
